Seize the Day!

Yesterday started out like a normal Sunday. Little man and I got up and went to church and then out to lunch with his Nana and Papa. I wasn't planning on doing much, maybe making a new video, do some cleaning, and just hanging out until my hubs got off work. My dearest friend Kate called me on my way home from lunch and wanted to go to the beach for a spur of the moment trip. We decided to wait until my husband was off work so he could join us. It ended up being a FUN time and I am glad she had this spontaneous idea! She helps keep me from being too grounded which is a good thing :)

Just thought I would share some of the photos with you. The weather was absolutely gorgeous and although it was a little windy, the sun was out. There were so many different types of people on the beach, just soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the start of Spring Break. I had brought along my Nikon DSLR in hopes of getting some beautiful pictures. This afternoon trip was just what my weary soul needed. It was a reminder to live in the moment and enjoy the beautiful creation around me. Thanks Kate for the adventure!
