Hi, my name is Alicia and I am the Sweet Mamacita of this site.  The name Sweet Mamacita comes from my Mexican heritage. Growing  up my Mexican father and Spanish fluent mother always called me "mamacita" as a term of endearment and they still refer to me as this today.

I have a passion for arts and crafts. My newest obsession is art journaling and mixed media. I love art because it allows me to express myself in ways when words just are sufficient. I am married to my best friend and we said "I do" almost 6 years ago. We are the parents of a little man named Tucker who is almost 2 (where did the time go?)! He is a spirited, funny, boy who is into drumming, dancing, playing with cars, and watching The Wiggles. 

In addition to art and being a wife and mama, I also just started my second year of graduate school for marriage and family counseling. This is my second time around in graduate school and I sometimes question my sanity! I also work as a high school substitute teacher which is both challenging and very rewarding.
