A Fiesta for My Sweet Boy!

Hello, Lovelies!

We had a very busy weekend at my house. Saturday was spent running errands, hanging out with my cousin and her family who were visiting from out of town, running more errands and a much needed date with my handsome husband. Then Sunday we had a first birthday fiesta for my son. Although his actual birthday isn't until May, we celebrated it early so that some special family members could celebrate with us. It was a beautiful, gorgeous, sunny day...about 70 degrees! Wow! I could not have asked for a more perfect day. T had fun playing with his cousins, eating a chocolate smash cake and getting messy, and opening presents. It was a great day spent with family and friends and I took many pictures to document, since little man will not remember it. I thought I would post a few here for you to enjoy! Have a wonderful week my Lovelies, enjoy your time with friends and family, and overuse I LOVE YOU!

Ciao, Alicia

Life is Beautiful (and Crazy Busy!)

Hello, my Lovelies!

I don't know about you, but I feel like my life has been crazy busy lately. It is the last few weeks of the semester for me for grad school so that means many paper and projects to work on. Then my body decided it would be an awesome idea to get sick. Now, I am pretty sure little man caught my cold. But, you know what, sometimes life happens. I have also been having a blast with the whole vlogging every day in April (SSSVEDA) thing too. I really look forward to filming and watching the other VEDA-ers and being a part of the YouTube community. Plus, I am becoming very savvy at YouTube and iMovie. I feel like a nerd, but I love it! Another little thing I have been doing lately, is trying to spread around the positivity. I feel like it is so easy to get caught up in the negativity these days and I see a lot of it on my Facebook feed. I now try to post pictures with positive posts on there and also on my Twitter, and encourage people to pass it on. Maybe it seems small, but it can also do some good. I hope you all are having a wonderful start to your April and are getting to enjoy some of the sunshine we are having in my neck of the woods. It makes me happy to see some sun beams. I will talk with you all soon. And remember, if you have some time to stop by my YouTube channel to watch the SSSVEDA videos. And, please help spread the love and positivity!

Ciao, Alicia
